Quality in the field

The production and seed procurement is monitored step by step by the highly qualified technical team of Wolf Seeds do Brasil. All our production fields are planted with Foundation seed whose source is verified by the Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture/Livestock and Farm Supplies (M.A.P.A. – Ministério de Agricultura Pecuária y Abastecimento).

At Wolf Seeds we process and prepare the seeds from which our producers grow commercial seed so that our clients can be assured of seed quality free of impurities and weeds. All production fields are registered with M.A.P.A. guaranteeing that the seeds are produced under the strictest official guidelines.

The fields are carefully selected in regions that provide the optimal geographical, hydrological and climatological for each specific variety; that is to say that each variety has specific needs in order to produce the highest quality seeds and the regions and production fields are carefully selected for this purpose. Our producers are very experienced and continuously monitor the production fields to control possible invasive species, weeds and diseases in addition to assessing the needs of the grasses for fertilization during the critical periods for seed formation so that the healthiest and most vigorous seeds are produced. The entire production process from the selection of the production fields to the harvesting is overseen by the technical team of Wolf Seeds do Brasil.
