Intercropping
Intercropping often means the use of one or more legumes planted together with a forage grass variety. Intercropping helps to increase the production of the forage grass, and increases the intake of protein by the grazing cattle, or other animals.
For intercropping we recommend the following varieties:
Grasses
- Brizantha Marandu
- Decumbens
- Brizantha Xaraés / MG-5 / Vitória / Toledo
- Humidicola
- Ruziziensis
- MG-4
- Humidicola ( Llanero ) Ex-Dictyoneura
- Aruana
- Massai
